Jalen Ramsey hints Vic Fangio misused him, Xavien Howard with Dolphins: ‘Won’t ever forgive’

Vic Fangio left the Dolphins for the Eagles, but the ramifications of the defensive coordinator’s time in South Florida are still being felt.

After the Dolphins reportedly told cornerback Xavien Howard they planned to cut him, current Miami defensive back Jalen Ramsey made his feelings about the move clear — with an apparent shot at Fangio.

While not pointing out the coordinator by name, Ramsey criticized the Dolphins’ scheme in the defensive backfield.

“I won’t ever forgive dude for not utilizing our full skillset!” Ramsey wrote on X.

Ramsey, who played one season with Howard following a trade to Miami from the Rams, also called Howard the “greatest” cornerback in team history.

Fangio left the Dolphins after just one season, with the coach and team having “mutually parted ways,” and Fangio quickly landed in Philadelphia as defensive coordinator.

Ramsey isn’t the first Dolphin to take a somewhat vague shot at Fangio.

Shortly after the team and coach split up, safety Jevon Holland posted a video on Instagram in which Holland was kicking rocks, which most people took as a knock on Fangio.

Fangio has since been replaced by Anthony Weaver, who will serve under head coach Mike McDaniel.
