Zach Wilson and girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno get cozy in new photos with Jets future looking bleak

Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is enjoying the offseason with his girlfriend while questions loom about his future with the team.

Wilson and Nicolette Dellanno, a model and influencer, kept warm in snowy Utah this week, according to photos she shared on Instagram.

“Took a trip to the snow!” Dellanno, a New Jersey native, wrote in her caption.

The couple opted for the colder weather in Wilson’s native Utah after they enjoyed a tropical vacation in Bora Bora last month.

Wilson and Dellanno, who are fairly private about their relationship, were first linked in June 2022 when they were photographed at a Yankees game together.

The couple went from riding jet skis in Bora Bora to snowmobiling in Park City following another up-and-down season for the former No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Jets finished at the bottom of the AFC East with a 7-10 record, just one spot above the 4-13 Patriots.

The team’s original plan for Wilson was to develop and learn from Aaron Rodgers, but everything went sideways when the four-time league MVP suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the season opener against the Bills on Sept. 11.

When the third-year quarterback was forced back as a starter, he struggled to control the offense and looked hesitant on the field.

Wilson was benched toward the latter half of the season and missed the final two games of the season after remaining in concussion protocol following a head injury in Week 15 against the Dolphins.

The 24-year-old hasn’t lived up to expectations in New York and it appears his days are numbered with the Jets.

Jets owner Woody Johnson didn’t sugarcoat his feelings about Wilson while ripping his team Thursday before the NFL Honors in Las Vegas.

“We need a backup quarterback,” Johnson said. “We didn’t have one last year.”

Wilson remains under contract with the Jets, but the team is trying to trade him.

Head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas will return in 2024, but Johnson made it clear that they must turn things around and produce next season.

“The discussions I’ve had in the last couple of months, they’ve seen me about as mad as I can be, with what was going on with the offense particularly,” Johnson said. “We’ve got all this talent and we’ve got to deploy talent properly. I think they all got the message.

“This is it. This is the time to go. We’ve got to produce this year. We have to produce this year.”
