WAGs makeup artist Allison Kaye details the glamorous looks of 2024 NFL Honors
Super Bowl weekend kicked off in glamorous fashion Thursday night at the 2024 NFL Honors in Las Vegas.
Gathered to commemorate another memorable season before Sunday’s big game between the Chiefs and 49ers at Allegiant Stadium, some of the NFL’s biggest playmakers enjoyed the exciting night out at Resorts World Theatre with their biggest supporters: their wives.
“They were so excited to get their glam done and hit the red carpet and be a part of the NFL Honors,” celebrity makeup artist Allison Kaye told The Post of the NFL spouses she curated looks for Thursday, including Allie Heyward and Shae Phillips, who are married to Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward and Vikings defensive Harrison Phillips, respectively.
To create the “soft glam” looks desired by her clients, Kaye — who has previously worked with Jenna Brandt, the fiancée of 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, among others — used TEMPTU airbrush foundation, Charlotte Tilbury lip liners and the Makeup by Mario Ethereal Eyes eyeshadow palette to bring her vision to life.
“I stuck with neutral browns and pink on the eyes, pops of shimmer, and nude-pink lips for everyone,” said Kaye, who also worked with Kelsey Holmer, who is dating Eagles offensive tackle Lane Johnson, Natalie Bolles, the wife of Broncos offensive tackle Garett Bolles, and Alexa Ingold, who is married to Dolphins fullback Alec Ingold.
The night was extra special as the NFL partners of the women Kaye worked with had all been nominated for the prestigious Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which honors a player in the league for their contributions both on and off the field.
The 34-year-old Heyward was named the 2023 AP Walter Payton Man of the Year winner and accepted the award from Prince Harry, who caught the six-time Pro Bowler off guard.
“Prince freaking Harry,” said Heyward, the son of late NFL fullback Craig “Ironhead” Heyward.
“Man, I’m in shock. That’s Prince Harry.”
Heyward, who was originally selected by the Steelers in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, is the founder of The Heyward House, which is “dedicated to impacting the lives of today’s youth,” according to the initiative’s website.
Upon hearing his name called Thursday, Heyward embraced Allie, whom he has been married to since 2013 after meeting at Ohio State.
Although Heyward isn’t playing in Super Bowl 2024 on Sunday, Kaye shared that everyone is counting down to kickoff – not to mention the halftime show.
“The girls are also definitely excited to see Usher,” Kaye said of this year’s halftime performer.
Super Bowl 2024 gets underway Sunday at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET.
