‘Jersey Shore’ stars aren’t allowed to preview episodes: Our texts ‘are literally going off all day’

What happens on “Jersey Shore” is kept a secret — even from the show’s cast.

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi revealed that she and her reality show roommates do not get to preview its new episodes; instead, they watch them for the first time when they air.

“We have no idea how it’s edited or what’s gonna happen. So when you guys are watching it, we’re watching it with you,” she told The Post ahead of the Season 7 premiere of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” on Feb. 8.

“And then we’re like, ‘Oh, she said that about me?’ So it’s kind of like we’re fans of our own show.”

The mom of three actually views the MTV series — a spinoff of “Jersey Shore” — alone in her car while she waits for her daughter, Giovanna, to finish cheerleading practice.

“Usually every time it’s on, I’m at pickup at cheer for my daughter … so I watch the whole episode on my phone … so nobody sees all the craziness because I never know what’s going to happen,” she explained.

“So I literally watch it in the parking lot at my daughter’s cheer practice. I can’t watch it at home because my kids will sit and watch it with me. And I don’t know if mommy will be drunk or if mommy’s swearing.”

Polizzi, 36, and her castmates — Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Angelina Pivarnick, Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola, Vinny Guadagnino and Deena Cortese — touch base as they watch their drama unfold. (Ronnie Ortiz-Magro stepped away from filming in 2021 to focus on his mental health, but has made an appearance on the spinoff since.)

“We’re texting and we’re like, ‘Oh my God, that happened?’ and ‘Ewww, why’d you say that?’” she said.

The crew, who first appeared together on “Jersey Shore” in 2009, communicate via group text daily, even when not filming.

“Our chats are literally going off all day, every day,” she said.

“I try and be in the chat as much as possible, but I’m still busy with the kids … I’m usually in the chat in the morning like 7 a.m. responding to everything that everybody said.”

“But I am one of those moms that gets into all the goodie bags, and they hand it out to their friends. I just went to Walmart and got everything. So I’m one of those moms that get it done.” MTV

Sorrentino is the most verbose and “is always in the chat, sending TikToks,” she said.

This season, the roommates return to the place responsible for their rise to stardom — their shore house in Seaside Heights.

“I literally met Jionni there. So to see it torn down, everyone’s like, ‘Oh, whatever,’” she said at the time. “I’m like, ‘No, if I never met Jionni there, I wouldn’t have my life and my babies and my family.'”

The pair, who are parents of Lorenzo, 11, Giovanna, 9, and Angelo, 4, will hopefully get some quality time together this Valentine’s Day — if all goes according to Polizzi’s plan.

“I want Jionni to take me out on a date. I want to hold hands. I want to kiss,” she said. “Like, I want all that stuff.”

As for her kids, “I get little candies and knickknacks,” she explained. “Nothing crazy.”

“But I am one of those moms that gets into all the goodie bags, and they hand it out to their friends. I just went to Walmart and got everything. So I’m one of those moms that get it done.”

Season 7 of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” airs on MTV on Thursday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m. EST.
