Keyshawn Johnson leaves ‘Undisputed’ set over Richard Sherman’s NFL MVP take

FS1’s “Undisputed” is never shy about embracing takes that make people want to get up and leave, but during Tuesday’s show, Richard Sherman’s MVP opinion irked Keyshawn Johnson so much that he briefly left the set.

Sherman and Johnson were debating the NFL award race when the latter became incensed enough to leave after the former defensive back mentioned that Bills quarterback Josh Allen accounted for more touchdowns for his team than Ravens star Lamar Jackson did for his.

With the three men shown on the screen, Johnson abruptly got up and walked off the set while Sherman was mid-sentence.

Johnson could be seen cutting in front of Skip Bayless’ camera as he was leaving his post.

“Josh Allen has 40 total touchdowns right now. Does that mean he’s the MVP? No, it does not. He’s accounted for 83 percent of his team’s touchdowns, 83. No QB is more important to their team right now than Josh Allen is to the Buffalo Bills,” Sherman said before Johnson walked off.

“So you can argue whatever you want to argue, you can walk off, because that means you don’t have the power to make a conscious argument,” Sherman continued after noticing Johnson leave.

The former NFL wide receiver eventually returned to his seat, but continued to look baffled as Sherman spoke uninterrupted.

Sherman explained that Jackson’s stats don’t necessarily reach the same levels that previous MVP winners have had.

He noted Jackson’s 24 total touchdowns this season — 19 TD throws and five on the ground — and the 55 percent of scores he’s accounted for are lower than previous award winners.

“I don’t even have a rebuttal,” Johnson said when Sherman wrapped up his point.

The two continued to trade barbs back and forth with Sherman at one point telling Johnson “I don’t want to hear I think, I want to hear facts.”

“Just stop with it, Richard,” Johnson said later, “I get it.”

“Make an argument based in facts Keyshawn,” Sherman fired back. “That’s all I’m asking you to do.”

The segment eventually ended with Bayless chiming in that they had to move on and “agree to disagree.”
