Heroes, zeros from Jets’ loss to Dolphins: Mekhi Becton failed Bradley Chubb test

Hero, zero and full blitz from the Jets’ 30-0 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday.

Hero

Dolphins edge-rusher Bradley Chubb had a huge day against Mekhi Becton and the Jets’ offensive line. Chubb had three sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.

Zero

This might have been the worst game in Robert Saleh’s tenure as head coach. He’s had some clunkers but his team look totally ill-equipped for this game and he got outcoached by his friend Mike McDaniel.

Unsung hero

Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey took Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson out of the game. Wilson did not even get targeted until the third quarter because Ramsey blanketed him.

Key stat

103: Total yards for the Jets’ offense, tied for the fourth-lowest in franchise history. Three of the lowest five totals have come during the Robert Saleh era.

Quote of the day:

“I think they just played a better game. They out-schemed us, out-efforted us.” — Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard
