Distressing video shows Lamborghini in flames after NYC crash leaves woman, 21, dead
A Lamborghini erupted into a ball of flames when the driver, who was fleeing from cops, crashed in upper Manhattan — leaving his 21-year-old passenger dead, police said Tuesday
Tiana Rodriguez, of the Bronx, died in the fiery wreck in Inwood on Monday night, cops said.
The young woman was riding in the sporty luxury SUV when the driver, a 22-year-old man, ran a red light shortly after 10 p.m., according to police sources.
NYPD officers put their lights on to pull over the driver, but he took off, cops said.
The speeding motorist zoomed north on Tenth Avenue with cops hot on his trail, police said.
He eventually slammed into a silver Hyundai Elantra that was attempting to make a left turn onto West 213th Street, according to cops.
The out-of-control Lamborghini then veered left, striking the pillar of an above-ground subway track, police said.
