Julius Randle was beefing with referee during Knicks on-court proposal

Julius Randle objects!

The Knicks forward picked the wrong time and place during a 118-112 win over the Pistons to hash things out with official Brandon Adair on Thursday night.

Now, he’ll forever be part of one couple’s special moment as the backdrop to their on-court proposal at the Garden.

In Randle’s defense, there wasn’t much way he could have known it would end up like this.

As part of an in-game promotion in which the Knicks surprised a couple with tickets to see the Radio City Rockettes, the man promptly dropped to one knee and popped the question to his surprised companion.

Unfazed by whatever Randle was complaining about, she said seemingly said ‘yes,’ giving the couple a memorable engagement.

Julius Randle had to get something off his chest at the wrong place and time.
Randle seemed unaware he was 15 feet from the couple’s big moment.

No word on if Knicks honcho James Dolan will let them use the Garden as a wedding venue, nor on the availability of his new Sphere Las Vegas.

Perhaps spurred on by the scene, Randle tied his season-high with 29 points — adding 10 rebounds and eight assists — in the win, second on the Knicks to Jalen Brunson’s 42.

A two-time All-Star since joining the Knicks in 2019, Randle has battled inconsistency during his New York tenure, especially to open this season.

His shooting percentage of 40.6 would be the lowest of his career by far, though he’s raised his scoring average over the past three games, totaling 28 points in a loss to the Suns and 25 to help the Knicks down the Hornets and advance in the In-Season Tournament before his Thursday night outburst.

Hey, maybe he just needed to find a little love.
