Say it loud and proud: Rep. Rashida Tlaib must go

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the notorious Michigan hard-left Democrat, has been justly censured in a bipartisan vote by the House for her actions after the Hamas atrocities of Oct. 7.

But new revelations prove that censure was not enough.

Turns out the woman who says she gets a “calming feeling” whenever she thinks of the Holocaust is reportedly a member of a hidden Facebook group where pro-Hamas sentiment abounds, along with naked antisemitism.

Color us utterly unsurprised.

“We don’t want to throw you in the sea . . . we want you to ride it back from where you came,” posted one group member beneath the image of an elderly Holocaust survivor held hostage by the terror cadre.

Another noted the “achievements” of the “Resistance in Northern occupied Palestine,” including “40 soldiers killed and injured.”

The group’s founder, Maher Abdel-qader, is a Holocaust denier who has shared videos calling Jews Satanic.

That Tlaib hangs out in this ugly corner of the internet should surprise no one.

Just look at her recent history:

* She put out a statement accusing Israel of ethnic cleansing and the US government of providing funding for war crimes, both patently untrue with respect to Israel’s justified counterattack against Hamas’ Gaza stronghold.

* She released a video accusing Joe Biden of supporting genocide for saying that the United States stands with Israel.

* She demanded an “independent investigation,” 9/11-truther style, into the al-Ahli hospital rocket attack, despite reams of incontrovertible evidence showing Islamic Jihad was responsible — including an audio tape of Hamas operatives openly admitting the rocket came from the group.

* Her tweet accusing Israel of the attack is still up, almost a month after the Hamas agitprop was debunked.

* She, along with other pro-terror Democrats, launched a congressional resolution demanding President Biden call for an immediate ceasefire and accusing Israel of “collective punishment.”

And all this comes atop years of vicious criticism of Israel and rhetoric that flirts openly with naked Jew-hatred.

But the latest revelations push the Michigan Democrat beyond the pale.

She must go, and go now.

The expulsion of House members requires a full two-thirds majority.

More than 20 Democrats broke ranks to join the resolution censuring Tlaib, but expelling her will require dozens more to cross the aisle — braving what will surely be a vicious and unending storm of hate on social media, from the legacy press and the various freikorps the US radical left now funds and fields.

In other words: It requires a massive spine.

We doubt enough House Dems have what it takes, but we’d love to be proven wrong.
