Travis Kelce lands in Argentina just before Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Friday show is rained out
Travis Kelce has arrived for what appears to be an impromptu night in with girlfriend Taylor Swift.
The Chiefs star tight end touched down in Buenos Aires not long before Swift’s Friday night Eras Tour show was re-scheduled due to rain.
“I love a rain show but I’m never going to endanger my fans or my fellow performers and crew,” Swift shared on social media. “We’ve rescheduled tonight’s Buenos Aires show for Sunday due to the weather being so truly chaotic it would be unsafe to try and put on this concert. Good news is I get to stay in Argentina longer!!”
Kelce, 34, wore a beige sweater and joggers with a green hat while he exited a small plane solo in photo obtained .
Hopefully Kelce packed some extra clothes for an extended stay before he rejoins his Chiefs teammates for practice Monday.
The All-Pro NFLer was seen getting into a black SUV with a backpack, however, it’s unclear where he was headed.
Swift arrived in Argentina two days prior for the start of the international leg of her Eras Tour.
She played the first of three weekend shows in Buenos Aires on Thursday and performed two surprise songs — “The Very First Night” and “Labyrinth” — with the latter including the lyrics, “Oh no, I’m falling in love again.”
While Swift rocked the stage for 80,000 screaming fans, Kelce was supporting teammate and quarterback Patrick Mahomes at his Mahomies Foundation Gala in Kansas City.
Kelce made his way to Argentina during the Chiefs’ bye week before their matchup with the Eagles on Nov. 20.
It’s unclear if Kelce will be present at Swift’s concerts Saturday and Sunday.
Swift returned to her record-breaking Eras Tour after two months off — during which she was spotted holding hands with Kelce on numerous occasions and hanging out with Brittany Mahomes and the Chiefs’ WAGs in New York City.
The singer hosted some of the Chiefs’ WAGs at her Tribeca apartment Sunday, when Kansas City beat the Dolphins in their NFL international game in Frankfurt, Germany.
Kelce and Swift were first linked in September, when she attended a Chiefs-Bears game at Arrowhead Stadium with his friends and family, including his mom, Donna Kelce.
They went public with their relationship the next month when they were seen holding hands while out together in New York City.
Swift, who has attended four Chiefs games this season, has yet to address their relationship publicly.
