Weird But True

Tattoo artist shames woman who got boyfriend’s name inked on her forehead: ‘100% fake’

Tatts not real.

Ana Stanskovsky shocked the world when she allegedly tattooed her boyfriend Kevin Freshwater’s name on her forehead. But many of the millions and millions of TikTok viewers who saw the stunt, including celebrity tattoo artist Kevin Paul, are claiming the ink isn’t legit.

“100% fake,” Paul, who’s drawn on Rihanna, Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran, told the Metro. “It’s literally black marker pen.”

The tattoo expert spotted several hints of hoodwinkery in Stanskovsky story.

“The machine isn’t even running and there’s no ink coming out of it,” Paul explained “There’s no needle actually going into the skin.”

And there’s one telltale sign of post-ink that Stanskovsky didn’t account for, the artist added. “Her skin would be raised and welted. All the pores would be raised up. You’d also see ink and blood dripping down her face.”

Stanskovsky, 27, posted the viral video on Nov. 5, which has nearly 25 million views on TikTok, showcasing her getting her boo Kevin’s name below her hairline in black lettering.

Paul continued that such a large tattoo comes with much pain and the London resident is a convincing actress.

“You don’t sit with a face like that when you’re getting your head tattooed. It hurts. It’s a desperate attempt for a tattoo artist to get noticed, and for the girl to get more followers,” he reiterated.

Despite the disbelievers, Stanskovsky is speaking up against the fake ink allegations.

Since she debuted her ink online, Stanskovsky has posted a series of TikTok clips explaining why she got her man’s name on her forehead and confirming the tattoo is the real deal.

“Yes, it’s real,” she said in the viral clip. “I can’t even believe it myself that I did it.”

Stanskovsky encourages others to tatt their partner’s name on them so they know it’s real.

“If your girlfriend doesn’t wanna tattoo your name on her face,” warned Stanskovsky, “you just need to find yourself a new girlfriend.”
