Davante Adams has message for Raiders fans after Josh McDaniels firing: ‘It’s going to be better now’

The vibes are high in Las Vegas with Josh McDaniels ousted.

Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams, on the heels of Sunday’s 30-6 win over the Giants in the first game since McDaniels’ firing, enjoyed a victory Monday by watching No. 20 Colorado stun No. 1 and defending women’s college basketball champion LSU at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Adams enjoyed a quick Raiders chat with a referee during the event, as captured by Bleacher Report on TikTok, telling the zebra: “It’s going to be better now.”

The captured interaction started with the referee bouncing a ball to Adams, who had courtside seats alongside former MLB outfielder Dexter Fowler.

“Love to see you guys get back on that winning track yesterday,” the referee said.

Adams then asked the referee: “You went yesterday?”

The referee had all the details ready.

“Section 312, right at the 50, man,” he replied.

Adams then informed the Raiders fan about how things are looking upward in the post-McDaniels era.

“I can tell already,” the referee said. “Good vibes, I love it man.”

Adams replied: “Appreciate you.”

It certainly seems Raiders are in higher spirits now that Antonio Pierce is at the helm and the McDaniels era is over.

The Raiders enjoyed celebratory cigars following their win over the Giants, a stark contrast to the Festivus-style airing of the grievances the team held before McDaniels’ dismissal.

Las Vegas owner Mark Davis even entered the field to “Thank you” chants from the Raiders faithful before the team ended its two-game losing skid by beating the lowly Giants.

The Raiders and Adams will try to keep the good vibes going on “Sunday Night Football” in Week 10 when they welcome the Jets.

The Jets tried to trade for Adams — a pal of Aaron Rodgers — at the trade deadline but were rebuffed. Now, it will be up to Sauce Gardner to contain him.

Adams will look to score for the first time since Week 3 and break out of a rut that has seen him limited to 26 catches for 251 yards and zero touchdowns in his past six games.
