Yankees star Aaron Judge was thrilled to see his wife Samantha Bracksieck after she finished the New York City Marathon on Sunday.
Judge was waiting for Bracksieck at the finish line, where the couple shared a sweet hug and posed for photos together.
The Yankees right fielder, who sported a hat and a sweatsuit, had a huge smile with his arms outstretched when he met Bracksieck after the race.
It’s unclear if the couple met up with Judge’s teammate, Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo and his wife Emily, who participated in her first-ever Marathon this year.
Emily ran on behalf of the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, which Rizzo founded in 2012 to help support pediatric cancer patients and their families.
In an exclusive interview with The Post, Emily recalled reaching out to Bracksieck, a 2022 NYC marathon alum, for advice.
“I have gone to her throughout this entire process and asked her a gazillion questions about what the day [of] looks like, what I should be wearing, what headphones, what her training looks like,” Emily said.
“We’ve ran together as well, and she’s really been a support system for me and given me a lot of good experience advice.”
Rizzo praised his wife’s strength and dedication to her training while balancing their schedules.
“Just to see her, day in and day out, fight to do the training because, with our schedule and traveling, and we’re in one city and then the next city, Emily making the time to get in [the training] pretty much no matter what,” Rizzo told The Post. “It’s really impressive.”
Judge and Bracksieck recently enjoyed a date night at the Knicks’ season-opener against the Celtics at Madison Square Garden, where they sat courtside on Oct. 25.
The day prior, Judge spoke with The Post at Barclays Center in Brooklyn — where he joined Make-A-Wish and Fanatics for their partnership announcement — and said he is taking “a lot of steps” to turn things around in The Bronx after the Yankees missed the postseason.
Judge and Bracksieck will celebrate their second wedding anniversary after tying the knot in Hawaii in December 2021.
They are fairly private about their longtime relationship, but it is known that they dated in high school.
