Allen Lazard injury could leave Jets thin at receiver for Chargers game

The Jets had a mix of good and bad injury news on Saturday.

Wide receiver Allen Lazard was added to the injury report with a knee injury and is listed as questionable for Monday’s game with the Chargers.

Lazard was limited in practice, indicating it is a new injury that occurred Saturday.

The Jets would miss Lazard, who has been their No. 2 receiver.

On the offensive line, they are getting back Joe Tippmann, who missed last week with a quad injury.

Tippmann should start at center.

Left guard Laken Tomlinson, who has been dealing with a hamstring injury all week, also will play.

Tackle Duane Brown (hip) will not be activated off of injured reserve and will miss another week.
