The NFL loves supportive WAGs.
The league took a break from its Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce obsession and shined the spotlight on Alexis Bawden, who had the best celebration when her husband, Jets fullback Nick Bawden, scored his first career touchdown after five years in the NFL.
In a video shared by the NFL on X, Alexis can be seen jumping up and down after watching Nick score a one-yard touchdown on his only carry in the Jets’ 15-10 loss to the Patriots on Sept. 24.
“The reaction from his wife Alexis is incredible,” the NFL wrote in a post on Monday, including the clip, which was initially shared by the influencer.
Alexis, 27, who attended the Week 3 matchup at MetLife Stadium, reposted the video on her Instagram Story.
At the time, Alexis gushed over her husband in a sweet message on social media.
“When I say he deserves it, it’s an understatement,” she wrote on Instagram and TikTok. “He works harder than anyone I’ve ever known. He’s the first guy in and the last guy out.
“The work and dedication he puts in is unmatched (ask his teammates). I literally cried today when this happened. I couldn’t be more proud of this man. THATS MY HUSBAND!!!!”
Alexis made headlines after the Jets-Patriots game for a revelation she made about “Jersey Shore” star, Angelina Pivarnick, who was also at the game with some of the MTV cast — including Nicole Polizzi, Mike Sorrentino, Jenni Farley, Deena Nicole Cortese and Samantha Giancola.
In a TikTok video shared after the game, Alexis claimed Pivarnick stared her down at the game while they passed each other on the sidelines, and then slid into her husband’s DMs.
“My husband gets a DM from this girl, [Angelina] from ‘Jersey Shore,'” Alexis said before showing the alleged DM.
“Ten minutes after this chick is eyeing me on the field… it’s her, it’s the girl from ‘Jersey Shore,’ DMs husband and says ‘See you soon.’
“That’s weird, you don’t message a married woman’s man that you’re going to see him soon after seeing his wife… weirdo.”
In a separate video, Alexis explained that Pivarnick messaged her and said she was not on the sidelines at the Sept. 24 game.
Although Pivarnick was seen sitting with her castmates in the stands, she was not pictured with them on the field.
Alexis and Nick tied the knot on July 7 in Woodside, Calif.
The couple, who met four years ago in Arizona, have a 2-year-old daughter, Skylar.
