UCLA vs. Utah pick
The No. 22 UCLA Bruins head to Salt Lake City for their final Pac-12 conference matchup against the No. 11 Utah Utes.
BetMGM Sportsbook is favoring Utah by 5.5 points and I think that’s a good line. There’s speculation that Cam Rising could return for this game, and even if he doesn’t, the Utes can trust backup Nate Johnson.
Action Network reporter Brett McMurphy said Thursday that it appears that Rising will play Saturday. That is good news for Utah, since its offense looked dreadful against Baylor and relatively average last weekend against Weber State. If Rising does return, his legs should pair well with Utes running back Ja’Quinden Jackson, who has rushed for 213 yards this season on 6.5 yards per carry.
UCLA will not be an easy win, though. True freshman quarterback Dante Moore has impressed with 615 yards and seven touchdowns, and the Bruins run game has done a good job supporting him with 7.4 yards per carry. A name to watch on UCLA’s defense is Laiatu Latu, who is third in the country with four sacks.
