Tory Lanez mugshot revealed —heads to state prison for Megan Thee Stallion shooting

Tory Lanez posed for a new mugshot Tuesday after being transferred to a state prison where he will continue to serve time after being convicted of shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

The 31-year-old Canadian “Say It” rapper, whose legal name is Daystar Peterson, is now at North Kern State Prison in Delano, Calif.

He appeared emotionless in the new picture, which was revealed five days after he was denied bail.

Lanez had asked Judge David Herriford to release him on bail so he could live with his son and wife while his team work on his appeal.

However, Judge David Herriford denied the motion on Sept. 14, citing Lanez’s conviction for a violent felony, history of violating court orders and foreign citizenship as contributing factors in the decision.

Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison earlier this year for shooting Megan, whose legal name is Megan Pete, in the feet after a party at Kylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home in July 2020.

Lanez was convicted of negligent discharge of a gun, assault with a gun and carrying a loaded and unregistered gun.

Megan, 28, faced criticism from Lanez’s fanbase after his sentencing but the “WAP” rapper had some choice words for the naysayers during a performance at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Aug. 14.

“F – – k all my haters. None of the s – – t you was doing or saying broke me,” Megan, told her fans, referred to as “hotties.”

“None of that s – – t y’all was doing or saying to the hotties broke them,” she added.

Meanwhile, Lanez claimed in an Aug. 10 Instagram statement that he refuses to “apologize for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of.”

“I have never let a hard time intimidate me. I will never never let no jail time eliminate me,” Lanez insisted in the long-winded post.

“Regardless of how they try to spin my words, I have always maintained my innocence and I always will.”

He continued: “This week in court I took responsibility for all verbal and intimate moments that I shared with the parties involved … that’s it.”

Megan has seemingly moved on with her life since Lanez’s sentencing. She stepped out in a barely-there catsuit during a night on the town last month and performed “Bongos” alongside Cardi B at the 2023 MTV VMAs on Sept. 12.
