Odell Beckham Jr. leaves early with ankle injury vs. Bengals

Odell Beckham Jr.’s second effort with the Baltimore Ravens ended prematurely due to an ankle injury.

The former Giants wide receiver was ruled out with an ankle injury during the Ravens’ 27-24 win over the Bengals on Sunday.

Beckham missed a few plays during the first half and had his lower leg looked at, according to NBC Sports

He did return to finish out the half and it’s unclear as to the exact play that led to the injury.

Beckham had three catches on four targets for 29 yards. His longest reception for the day was a 15-yard catch.

Sunday was just his second game with the Ravens since signing a one-year, $15 million contract with Baltimore during the offseason.

In his first game – a 25-9 win over the Houston Texans – Beckham had 37 yards on two receptions.

Beckham was styling before the game, clearly jumping on the Colorado bandwagon.

The wide receiver was rocking a T-shirt featuring Buffaloes star Travis Hunter during warmups before the game in Cincinnati. He was also wearing cleats inspired by NFL legend Randy Moss.

While Beckham’s absence was a disappointment, it didn’t keep the Ravens from continuing their strong play against the Bengals.

They extended their lead to 20-10 on a drive that saw Zay Flowers make a highlight reel catch on a 52-yard pass from Lamar Jackson.

They completed the touchdown drive with a touchdown pass to tight end Mark Andrews.
