Alleged Russell Brand rape occurred just 5 months after Katy Perry split finalized

One of the bombshell rape allegations against Russell Brand occurred just months after he divorced pop star Katy Perry after 14 months of marriage.

Four women accused the British comedian and actor of raping and sexually abusing them during the height of his fame between 2006 and 2013, according to a joint investigation published Saturday by the Times of London and Channel 4 Dispatches.

An accuser named Nadia claimed the “Arthur” star raped her “against a wall” in his Los Angeles home in July 2012, five months after his divorce from the “Roar” singer was finalized.

The alleged victim was treated at a rape crisis center the same day, according to medical records cited by the newspaper and network, which worked together on the investigation.

Another woman claimed that Brand groomed her and sexually abused her when she was 16. She alleged that the then-31-year-old celebrity called her “the child” and assaulted her during their “emotionally abusive and controlling” three-month relationship, according to the report.

Brand married Perry in October 2010 during a seven-day ceremony at a tiger sanctuary in India, and filed for divorce 14 months later in December 2011.

Brand famously dumped the “American Idol” judge via text moments before she was to perform on stage.

“Let’s just say I haven’t heard from him since he texted me saying he was divorcing me December 31, 2011,” Perry told Vogue in 2013.

Perry also said that Brand did not like her being the “boss” and described his behavior as “really hurtful, and… very controlling.”

Perry met the actor in 2009 when she was 25 and he was 35. She filmed a cameo appearance for his film “Get Him to the Greek.” After meeting again at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, they began dating.

Brand cited “irreconcilable differences” with Perry, in divorce papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, and moved on to a relationship with British socialite and filmmaker Jemima Khan.

Perry could not be reached for comment Saturday.

Brand denied the disturbing allegations in an online video released Saturday before the report was published.

“Amidst this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks, are some very serious allegations that I absolutely refute,” he said, adding the claims stem from a time when he was “very, very promiscuous,” which he said he wrote “about extensively in my books.”

“Now during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely, always consensual.”
