Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter rocket up Heisman Trophy oddsboard

Coach Prime, Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and the Colorado Buffaloes have put the college football world on notice, and the Heisman odds markets have mirrored the shift in expectations.

The Buffs knocked off No. 17 TCU as three-touchdown underdogs on Saturday.

Sanders, Coach Prime’s son, tossed for over 500 yards, becoming the first quarterback in program history to do so,and four touchdowns, leading the team to a victory over last season’s national championship runner-up.

At the same time, cornerback/wide receiver Hunter recorded over 100 combined snaps , dominating on both sides of the ball and finishing with over 100 yards receiving and an interception.

The big win shot the Buffs all the way up to No. 22 in this week’s AP Poll, the school’s first ranking since December of 2020.

And suddenly, Colorado’s two superstars are getting all the public betting attention.

After opening as massive long shots, Sanders and Hunter have seen monster odds shifts in the Heisman Trophy futures market at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Those two players have seen more betting action than any player in the sport.

These reports haven’t even adjusted for the most recent action on the two players.

Hunter is down to +2500 at DraftKings, while Sanders is now at +2800, which are the 12th and 13th-highest odds on the board.
