Odell Beckham falls over in shock after learning Zay Flowers’ enormous signing bonus

Zay Flowers may be picking up the tab for dinner for a little while after his teammates discovered how much his signing bonus with the Ravens was.

It was so high that it sent Odell Beckham Jr. falling over in his chair.

The hilarious moment happened during a recent team meeting in which Flowers was given the floor to let his teammates get to know him a little bit better.

He was instructed to give his name, school and signing bonus.

The first two answers didn’t draw much of a reaction but his third one sure did.

The room erupted as Flowers revealed his $7 million dollar signing bonus and Beckham Jr. flung himself backward trying to comprehend what he had just heard.

Another teammate next to Flowers held out his bucket cap, joking that he wanted to get some spare change from the rookie receiver.

The Ravens selected Flowers at No. 22 overall in this year’s draft out of Boston College.

Flowers had been linked to the Giants going into the draft back in April but ended up in Baltimore.

A report from The Athletic indicated that the Giants had even tried to move up in order to take Flowers.

Big Blue ended up selecting Maryland cornerback Deonte Banks.

The Ravens are hoping Flowers becomes a reliable weapon for them going forward and signed him to a four-year, $14 million contract, according to Spotrac.

Flowers has made an impression during Ravens training camp with quarterback Lamar Jackson nicknaming him “Joystick.”

“Zay brings a unique personality to it,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh told reporters earlier this month, per ESPN. “He’s full of energy.

“He’s always ready to go, on point, works hard, does extra, wants to be as good as he can be every day, and he proves it by what he does.”

In his senior season with BC, Flowers accumulated 1,077 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.
