Mike Greenberg’s wife ‘definitely not’ a fan of mustache look

Her message was clear.

During Monday’s installment of ESPN’s “Get Up,” Mike Greenberg, who hosts the daily morning show, was featured on-air sporting a mocked-up grey mustache that imitates Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ signature look.

The idea clearly wasn’t approved by his wife Stacey.

“Definitely not,” Stacey wrote on Twitter, including a photo of the show’s shot of Greenberg’s proposed look.

Greenberg reposted his wife’s tweet and wrote: “If this is what it takes, I will do it.”

The idea of Greenberg imitating Rodgers came to light toward the end of the show when Greenberg referenced Rodgers donning a mustache during Saturday’s preseason game against the Buccaneers.

The title of the segment read: “Would anybody talk to Greeny if he rocked the Aaron Rodgers mustache?”

“I’m willing to do the mustache with Aaron,” Greenberg said. “I will shave the rest of this (points to face) and just go with the Rodgers’ stache.

“My fear is that two days later, he gets rid of it and now I just look ridiculous. I’m 100 percent willing to do this.”

Greenberg wasn’t the biggest fan of seeing himself with a mustache.

“I look like an idiot,” he said. “I look like I’m investigating a crime in London. I don’t know what the hell I look like.

“But I’m willing to do it.”

Greenberg’s wife clearly has her thoughts on whether he should go through with the look, but she may not have to worry as Rodgers has already shaved his mustache.

Stacey is hysterical on Twitter, and often shares a glimpse into the couple’s home life in New York City.

She hilariously documented in March how Greenberg was “on edge” as he awaited the news of Rodgers’ decision about his playing future.

The four-time NFL MVP was traded to the Jets in April, following 18 seasons in Green Bay.

Rodgers, 39, is set make his debut with the Gang Green in Saturday’s preseason finale against the Giants at MetLife Stadium, as reported by The Post’s Brian Costello.

He sat out the first three preseason games while the Jets started backup quarterback Zach Wilson.

Stacey also provided updates on Greenberg’s health when he was absent from “Get Up” following a heart procedure in March.

Greenberg and his wife, who is a columnist and author, will celebrate their 26th wedding anniversary in September.
