Crazed fan arrested outside Drew Barrymore’s LI mansion days after rushing stage at event with actress

The crazed fan who gave Drew Barrymore a scare when he rushed the stage during an event she was hosting in Manhattan earlier this week was arrested outside the actress’ Long Island home on Wednesday, sources said.

Chad Michael Busto — who shouted down Barrymore at the 92nd Street Y on Monday — was busted going door-to-door in her Southhampton neighborhood trying to track down the A-list actress, according to law enforcement sources.

Busto was detained shortly after landing on the steps of Barrymore’s $6 million farmhouse, sources said.

Luckily, the “The Drew Barrymore Show” star was not home at the time. It was not immediately clear what charges Busto would face for the frightening encounter.

The pursuit comes just two days after the deranged fan charged Barrymore during a speaking engagement with Reneé Rapp, singer and star of “Sex Lives of College Girls.”

During the event at the 92nd Street Y, the man identified himself as Busto and screamed Barrymore’s name as he approached the stage.

“You know who I am. I need to see you at some point while you’re in New York,” Busto shouted as he ran toward the stage.

A bodyguard stopped the man from climbing the stage as Rapp simultaneously ushered Barrymore behind the curtains and out of view.

Busto has a lengthy criminal record consisting of arrests from around the country, according to law enforcement sources.

The Post obtained numerous police reports for a man named Chad Michael Busto, which documented offenses for criminal trespass, resisting arrest, indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, theft, harassment and more in several states, as recently as January 2022 and as far back as June 1999.

He allegedly also harbored an obsession with Amber Heard and was allegedly banned from an online fan forum after allegations arose regarding “stalking,” “sexual harassment” and “threats,” some reports claim.
