Wives of 49ers stars cut loose on girls’ trip before start of NFL season: ‘Happier than ever’

Claire Kittle and Kristin Juszczyk are closing out the preseason in style.

Kristin — the wife of 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk — recapped Monday on Instagram a recent trip to Turks and Caicos, where she and Claire, the wife of San Francisco star tight end George Kittle, enjoyed a girls’ getaway with friends.

“Arrived to the girls trip bronzed and glowy – left pale and with a chipped tooth BUT happier than ever,” Kristin captioned her post.

“Needless to say I love these girls with all of my heart… and I need to call the dentist.”

The group, which also consisted of Erin Alvey, the wife of Nashville Predators winger Filip Forsberg, Sarah Taylor, the wife of Bengals receiver Trent Taylor, and Stephanie Toilolo, the wife of NFL free agent Levine Toilolo, hit the beach and swam during the day before taking in dinners together at night.

Kristin, who has been married to Juszczyk since 2019, posted a handful of bikini snaps as she modeled a pattern piece from Jaded London.

“Love love love us,” Claire commented on Kristin’s post.

Olivia Culpo, the fiancée of 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, also dropped a trio of fire emojis.

“wOoOoOoAaAaHhh,” Culpo commented.

The trip took place last week, just as the 49ers are getting ready to wrap up the preseason.

San Francisco will host the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday in its preseason finale before traveling to Pittsburgh, where it’ll kick off the regular season against the Steelers on Sept. 10.

The 49ers reached the NFC Championship Game last season with rookie quarterback Brock Purdy at the helm, losing to the Eagles, 31-7.

Purdy, who suffered a devastating elbow injury in the NFC title game, is expected to claim the starting job, with 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan remarking to Sports Illustrated: “He would have to melt in practice to lose [the starting quarterback job].”

Trey Lance, the 49ers’ third overall pick in 2021, and veteran Sam Darnold are the other quarterbacks on the roster.
