Homeless NYC ‘parking pirate’ shipwrecked in Battery Park City

The Big Apple’s infamous “Parking Pirate” is shipwrecked.

John McIntosh — the 41-year-old homeless hoarder who hogged space on spot-scarce Warren Street in Battery Park City and then moved his junk-stuffed jalopy for a price — has been sunk by the city.

The NYPD confirmed Sanitation workers descended on Warren Street and River Terrace Aug. 10 and seized the flotsam and jetsam from McIntosh’s 2008 Toyota RAV4.

Cops issued the self-described “entrepreneur” a $65 summons for an uninspected vehicle and the Toyota was towed, the department said.

“I’m totally messed up right now. I’m stranded. I was railroaded!” McIntosh told The Post on Friday.

The Parking Pirate arrrrgh-ued “elitist” neighborhood residents led to him walking the plank.

The Tribeca Citizen first reported the dismantling, which ended the 13-year street hustle, in which he’d unmoor his RAV4– for the right price.

“For $1 dollar I will tell you if I’m moving,” he would tell desperate drivers. “But the spot is $20.”

McIntosh claimed he pocketed up to $100 a day hoarding his parking spot — and even took payment by Venmo, under the name “Parkingpirate.”

To make even more booty, he’d sell bric-a-brac he’d find on the street, and store in, and on top of, his car.
