How much are tickets to see Justin Verlander pitch against the Yankees?

And just like that, the American League’s biggest rivalry is back on.

Following a blockbuster trade deadline deal, former Met Justin Verlander has returned to the Houston Astros and in his first game back with his old team, he’s facing off against the Yankees at Yankee Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 5 at 1:05 p.m.

The last time the 40-year-old Verlander pitched against the Bronx Bombers was in Game One of the 2022 ALCS where his Astros won 4-2 before going on to win the World Series.

This time around, the stakes are just as high.

Both the Astros and Yankees are on the Wild Card playoff bubble and need every win they can get as the season dwindles to a close in the dog days of summer.

Given the high stakes, history between the two teams and the fact that the Yankees are giving away Yankees Baseball Card Packs, you’d think tickets are exorbitantly high for this Saturday match.

We’re happy to report that you’d be wrong.

At the time of publication, some tickets are going for as low as $12 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Lower-level seats won’t have you breaking the bank either.
