‘Project Runway’ winner Christian Siriano rents $16K/month NYC home

Celebrity fashion designer Christian Siriano is comfortably ensconced in a stylish two-bedroom, 2½-bath condo at 108 Leonard St. in Tribeca, Gimme Shelter has learned.

Siriano is a onetime “Project Runway” winner, who counts Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez, Michelle Obama and Zendaya as just some of his superstar clients. During his time on the show in 2008, he charmed viewers with his constant use of “Fierce!” to describe, well, nearly everything.

Siriano, who hails from Maryland and has an octopus tattoo down an arm to pay homage to his origins, is a renter at the building. He moved there in March; his unit asked nearly $16,000 per month.

The landmarked, turn-of-the-century Italian Renaissance Revival property was designed by McKim, Mead & White — the Beaux-Arts starchitects whose diverse creations included the original Penn Station, Columbia University’s library and the Brooklyn Museum. It was later restored by Jeffrey Beers International.

The sprawling 1,700-square-foot residence comes with original details, like 13-foot ceilings and arched windows. Similar units in the building, which recently celebrated the opening of its roof deck and amenities space, rent for more than $15,000 a month or more, according to StreetEasy.

The home comes with a formal entry that leads to a great room, and an open chef’s kitchen and dining space.

The main bedroom suite boasts a walk-through closet/dressing room and a spa-like bath — while the second bedroom features ample storage. Design details include wide-plank oak floors, while shared amenities include a gym, a pool, a hot tub, a media room, a children’s playroom and a concierge.

Siriano, through a spokeswoman, declined to comment. Douglas Elliman, which oversees sales in the building, also declined to comment.
