Aaron Rodgers, Jets agree to reworked contract

Aaron Rodgers and the Jets have agreed to a reworked contract, the future Hall of Famer said after Wednesday’s practice in Florham Park, N.J.

The 39-year-old Rodgers declined to offer any details, but said that the two parties have agreed to terms and details would be released later in the day.

When training camp opened, the issue was unresolved.

As part of the trade between the Packers and Jets, Rodgers had a massive $58.3 million option bonus shifted from 2023 to 2024, which left him earning only $1.165 million this coming season and a mammoth $107.55 million next year.

“I’m having a blast. I don’t see this as a one-year-and-done thing,” Rodgers said on Wednesday.
