Brooklyn man arrested for tossing ‘cluster’ of bricks through state senator’s office while staff was inside

A Brooklyn man has been charged with throwing a “cluster” of bricks through the window of state Sen. Iwen Chu’s district office while her staffers worked inside.

The 42-year-old alleged vandal, Mou Hu, is accused of hurling the bricks through a plate-glass window of Chu’s office on Fort Hamilton Parkway near 66th Street in Sunset Park shortly after 9:30 a.m. Friday, cops said.

“He threw it through the front window. One of the staffers there witnessed it,” an NYPD spokesman said.

Hu was arrested Friday afternoon at his Brooklyn residence, police said. He’s charged with criminal mischief, and his arraignment was pending as of Saturday afternoon.

Authorities did not give a motive for the vandalism.

“We are grateful that no one was harmed,” Chu tweeted.

She also denounced the incident as “an inexcusable act of violence and cannot be tolerated in any aspect of life. This is not just an attack on my office but everyone we serve.”

She also thanked cops for their “quick response and action.”

Chu, a Democrat, was elected to New York’s 17th Senate District in November.
