The first night of the 2023 NFL Draft is likely an event Will Levis wishes to forget, but the overexposure did lead to a positive — albeit, lucrative — outcome for a certain member of his inner circle.
When reflecting on his infamous first-round slide on Barstool Sports’ “The Mid Show” podcast this week, the former Kentucky quarterback – who was selected 33rd overall by the Titans in the second round of April’s draft — revealed how girlfriend Gia Duddy‘s online profile skyrocketed exponentially, resulting in new partnerships.
“The one positive thing that me and my family took away from draft night is just the attention on social media my sisters and girlfriend got, so that was good,” the 24-year-old Levis said.
When asked what Duddy’s prospective business opportunities, Levis responded, “She just signed a Burger King deal.”
“It’s crazy, I was like, ‘You’re paying for lunch,'” he said.
A Penn State graduate, Duddy boasts nearly 500,000 followers on TikTok, where she posts a wide array of videos ranging from beauty to health.
Levis, who has been dating Duddy for more than two years, noted how she’s moving to Nashville in September and will be attending nursing school in the not-so-distant future.
“She’s going to do the whole influencer thing, slide by with that, and then get into nursing school and see where that goes,” Levis said. “Her followers doubled on draft night. And I was like, ‘I need a cut of this.'”
Duddy has been supportive of Levis throughout his NFL journey thus far, traveling to Los Angeles with him in May as part of the NFLPA Rookie Premiere, a business and marketing event that provides partners an opportunity to connect with some of the league’s newest stars.
During their time on the West Coast, Duddy got a peek at Levis’ new look with the Titans.
“And just like that I have a new favorite number!” she gushed on Instagram at the time.
Levis reports to Titans training camp later this month.
He is expected to compete with Malik Willis for the backup job behind veteran Ryan Tannehill.
