This famous optical illusion will test your relationship

Who do you see?

This famous optical illusion is said to test the viewer’s relationship and reveal how they communicate with their partner.

Le Baise (French for “The Kiss”) is a well-known artwork by Russo-Polish artist Sonia Lewitska dating back to the early 20th century.

The image depicts the outline of a man and a woman in a loving embrace.

For years people have claimed that whether the viewer sees a man or a woman first can give insights into their psychology from their love life to whether they’re an honest person.

People claim that if the spectator sees the man first it may mean that the viewer has a man (or men) on the brain, whether that be because they’re annoyed with a certain man or longing for one.

The same goes for seeing the woman first, it could mean that the viewer is thinking about a woman (or women) either because a certain female is top of mind or because they desire one.

Seeing the woman before the man also suggests that the viewer is likely to be more open and transparent with their partner.

They probably value honest open conversations about their feelings and emotions and believe this to be a key factor to maintain a healthy relationship.

It also could mean the person can become frustrated or disappointed if this isn’t returned.

On the other hand, if the viewer spots a man first, they might be someone who is more reserved and struggles with communication.

These people may find it difficult to be honest and express their emotions but being closed off could spark feelings of loneliness and isolation in relationships.

The optical illusion is similar to a Rorschach test, or the inkblot test, a well-known psychological test using images to test for thought disorders to identify mental illness.
