Aaron Rodgers reveals plans to see Taylor Swift concert at MetLife Stadium: ‘For sure’

Mac Jones isn’t the only NFL quarterback who is a proud Swiftie.

When speaking to Adam Schein on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio on Wednesday, new Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed he will be checking out Taylor Swift’s blockbuster Eras Tour at MetLife Stadium this Memorial Day weekend.

“Oh for sure, of course,” Rodgers replied when asked if he’ll be catching the pop superstar in action when she kicks off her three-day stop in East Rutherford, N.J. starting Friday.

The 39-year-old quarterback, who has been living it up on the East Coast since being traded to the Jets by the Packers last month, was then asked who he’ll be going to the concert with.

“I’ve got some friends who are also big fans who are kind of in my age group, so,” Rodgers said with a laugh. “We’re going to go together.”

Rodgers has been showing his love for Swift, 33, for some time.

In fact, the four-time league MVP had an impromptu karaoke session with Keleigh Teller, the wife of “Top Gun: Maverick” star Miles Teller, when vacationing in Hawaii back in 2021.

At the time, Rodgers was joined by his then-fiancée, actress Shailene Woodley.

In the clip posted on Keleigh’s Instagram page, she and Rodgers can be heard singing “The 1” from Swift’s 2020 album “Folklore,” which happens to be the signal-caller’s favorite.

“My favorite song off that album is probably ‘August,’ and my favorite music video is ‘I Bet You Think About Me,’ which came out recently, a year or so ago, I think, and a couple of my friends, Miles Teller and his wife, are in it… I love that music video,” Rodgers said.

“‘Folklore’ is probably my album and like I said, ‘August,’ is probably my favorite song off of that album.”

Fortunately for Rodgers, it appears “August” is part of the Eras Tour’s monster set list.
