Devin McCourty headed to NBC’s NFL pregame show as family’s media rise continues

The No. 1-rated NFL pregame show will be adding a three-time Super Bowl champion, The Post has learned.

Devin McCourty, 35, will be joining NBC’s “Football Night in America” beginning this season, according to sources.

McCourty retired from the Patriots after 13 seasons, two Pro Bowls and three rings.

The McCourty twins, who both played their college ball at Rutgers, are now a dominant sports media force.

Jason McCourty, who retired in 2021 after 13 years, three as Devin’s teammate with the Patriots, is one of the hosts of the fun “Good Morning Football” on NFL Network.

Jason also shined as a radio analyst for Westwood One.

Devin is also expected to call some games for Westwood, sources said.

The McCourtys first started making waves as future NFL TV standouts at the league’s broadcasting boot camp, where current and recently retired players learn about the media business.

At the time, sources told The Post that the McCourtys stood out during the training period.

Last year, while still an active player, Devin worked as an analyst for “NFL Today” on CBS.

Now, Devin will join NBC, with host Maria Taylor, analysts Tony Dungy, Chris Simms, Jason Garrett, fantasy expert Matthew Berry and insider Mike Florio.
