How much are Nuggets NBA Finals tickets? The answer may surprise you

In 1976, the Denver Nuggets advanced to the ABA Finals where they lost to Julius Erving’s New York Nets.

The following season, the Nuggets (and the ABA) merged into the NBA.

They haven’t been back to the Finals since…until now.

For the first time in 48 years — and their first time in the NBA — the Denver Nuggets are playing in the Finals.

Led by the stellar play of Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon and triple-double machine Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets handily defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 4-0 in the Western Conference Finals.

And now that they’ve advanced to the last dance, ticket prices have skyrocketed for potential Nuggets Finals home games.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets to see Michael Malone’s Nuggets at Ball Arena were $603 before fees on Vivid Seats.

That could all change too once we find out whether Denver will be facing off against the Miami Heat or Boston Celtics in the best of seven series for all the marbles.

Still, price is no matter when it comes to witnessing basketball history.

About the Lakers-Nuggets series

In the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, Denver and Los Angeles met in the Conference Finals.

Despite the Nuggets’ best efforts, Los Angeles won the series 4-1 and ended up taking home the NBA Final trophy after they defeated the Miami Heat in six games.

Over the course of the 2022-23 regular season, the squads met four times and each team won two games apiece.

The Western Conference Finals were a different story.

Denver swept Los Angeles in four games.

While each contest was close — the largest margin the Nuggets won by was 11 points in Game Three — LeBron and co. simply could not keep up with second-round pick turned two-time MVP Nikola Jokic and the rest of Malone’s club.
