Viktor Hovland roasted — again — for PGA Championship outfit

Golf Twitter is roasting Viktor Hovland again over his outfit at the PGA Championship.

The Norwegian pro, who finished the first round Thursday at 2-under, sported a bright orange and yellow ombré polo while competing at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, N.Y.

Hovland wore the short sleeve top under an orange and blue zip-up jacket, which featured a matching ombré zipper.

It came after the 25-year-old pro wore a pink and white floral shirt during the Masters in April, which garnered ruthless reactions from people on social media — with one person comparing him to “an exploded watermelon.”

Now, Golf Twitter is having a field day again with Hovland’s bright attire.

“Viktor Hovland strikes again with the bad shirt,” one user wrote.

“I love Viktor Hovland with all my heart but these fits absolutely need to stop,” another said.

A separate tweet compared Hovland’s shirt to the alcoholic cocktail, “sex on the beach.”

It’s unclear what Hovland’s motivation was behind choosing his outfit for the opening round of the PGA Championship.

However, some had clever comparisons, including a Dutch speed skater and “Emily in Paris.”

“Viktor Hovland is dressed like the Headless Horseman in a jockey uniform for the Halloween Derby,” someone wrote.

This wasn’t the first time Hovland has been roasted on Twitter for his competition ensemble.

In April, his floral shirt from J.Lindeberg turned heads on the course in Augusta, where he was paired with Tiger Woods and Xander Schauffele in the first two rounds of the Masters.

The polo was covered in Azalea flowers, which pays homage to the 13th hole “Azalea” at Augusta National, according to Sports Illustrated.

When Hovland was asked about his Masters attire, he said he had nothing to do with picking out his fit.

“I just wear what they tell me to wear,” he said, laughing, during an interview with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt. “It’s definitely a little bit out there, but I’d rather take these than the pink pants I had last year.”
