NYC teen beaten on bus and robbed of iPhone, AirPods: cops

A 16-year-old boy was beaten onboard a city bus before his five attackers — including an adult woman — pulled him from the vehicle and stole his iPhone and AirPods, police said.

The brazen afternoon attack occurred at around 2 p.m. April 28 aboard a Q8 MTA bus at the corner of Grant Avenue and Liberty Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn, cops said.

Four males between the ages of 16 and 18 and a 40-year-old woman started to argue with the victim, who was then pummeled by the youths and pulled from the bus, the NYPD said.

The male suspects then robbed their prey of his Apple iPhone and AirPods — valued at $1,100 — and ran off, cops said.

The victim suffered minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene, authorities said.

Police on Saturday released surveillance photos of the suspects.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
