Back window of NYPD patrol car shot out in Brooklyn with officers inside

The back window of a parked NYPD patrol car was shot out in Brooklyn Saturday as two cops sat inside, police sources told The Post.

Despite the large hole in the back window, neither of the officers were hurt, the sources said.

It was unclear if the incident — which took place in Greenpoint at the intersection of Morgan Avenue and Richardson Street in the 94th Precinct — was the result of a stray shot or if a gunman had intentionally targeted the vehicle.

Police were still looking for the gunman early Sunday.
