As of Friday morning, the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft is complete.
As with every NFL draft, there were chalk picks, surprises, and snubs, but most of all: excitement. Every player picked will see their lives change forever. From Bryce Young, the 2021 Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback selected first overall by the Carolina Panthers, to acclaimed Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson Jr., scooped up by the Houston Texans in the third overall pick, the 2023 class of prospects is bursting with talent, and having been picked, pride.
There are vanishingly few picks that we’re as excited about, however, as the New York Jet’s first-round pick, the 15th overall. It’s been a blockbuster week for the Jets, who remain one of the most talked-about teams of the preseason following Aaron Rodgers’ move to the east coast last week.
