It’s a rematch of the NFC Championship game when the Los Angeles Rams face the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night. The 49ers have owned this series lately. San Francisco had beaten L.A. six straight times before the Rams took the Niners down, 20-17, on their way to a Super Bowl title in February.
The total in this game is low, which makes sense considering four of the past five meetings have gone under. Prime-time games have also been low scoring this year and the market is adjusting to bettors piling on the Unders. The Rams have failed to cover five straight in this series but the underdog is on a seven-game ATS run.

This all adds up to a difficult game to handicap. One thing I’m expecting is both defenses to pressure the quarterback. The 49ers are without stud left tackle Trent Williams and last week Jimmy Garoppolo was sacked four times by the Broncos.
On the flip side, Nick Bosa was a terror in the NFC Championship game, finishing with 1.5 sacks and four hurries. Bosa also already has four sacks this season through the first three games. As of Saturday, he’s sitting at -140 to go over 0.25 sacks at FanDuel on Monday night.

In a game that’s tough to call, I think betting Bosa to record at least half a sack is the best play on the board.
