Man stabbed on Lower East Side — one block from ‘super perp’ knife attack
A man was stabbed on the Lower East Side on Thursday night — about a block from where a “super perp” knifed an Uber Eats deliveryman two days earlier, cops said.
Thursday’s suspect knifed his 58-year-old victim twice in the back on Allen Street near Delancey Street around 7:10 p.m., cops said.
The victim was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect ran off and had not been arrested by Friday morning.

The motive for the attack was not immediately known.

About a block away on Allen Street near Rivington Street, career criminal Sean Cooper, 47, walked up to Bharatbhai Patel, 36, around 3 a.m. Tuesday and tried to rob him, cops and police sources said.

The deliveryman clung to his e-bike as Cooper allegedly grabbed at it before stabbing him in the leg and upper back and then fleeing empty-handed, cops said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
A police official described the suspect as a tenacious “super perp,” noting his slew of 103 previous arrests — which sources said include 16 busts this year alone on petty larceny, burglary or robbery charges. Some of his arrests are sealed.
He was ordered held on $10,000 bail at his Tuesday night arraignment.
