How to watch Ravens-Jets: Week 1 2022 live stream, channel, betting info

There’s a sense of optimism again at 1 Jets Drive, with the team coming off a respected 2022 NFL Draft and hope that the pieces are finally in place for a successful turnaround.

The first chance to prove that comes against the Ravens on Sunday, a team many expect to be back in AFC contention after a season marred by injuries. The Jets will have to try and pull the upset at MetLife Stadium without starting quarterback Zach Wilson, who is out at least the first three weeks of the season with a knee injury suffered in the preseason opener against the Eagles.

Instead, Joe Flacco will start against the team he led to a Super Bowl XLVII title.

Can the Jets get their 2022 campaign off on the right foot and win their season opener for the first time since 2018?

Here’s everything you need to know about the Jets-Ravens matchup this weekend:

When will the Jets and Ravens play?

Head coach Robert Saleh will kick off his second seasons in the green and white at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. ET.

Where can I watch the game?

The game will air live on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+. Andrew Catalon and James Lofton will be on the call for CBS.

What can I expect?

The Jets finished 4-13 last season, marking their fifth fourth-place finish in the past six years. They will hope that a bolstered group of skill position players helps Flacco and eventually Wilson find his groove

The Jets defense should benefit from the return of Carl Lawson, who missed last season with a torn Achilles. But there will be no room for the unit to ease into its schedule, faced with the difficult task of slowing down dynamic quarterback Lamar Jackson in Week 1.

What is the record between the Jets and Ravens?

The Jets and Ravens have faced off 11 times, with Baltimore holding a 9-2 advantage. Both of the Jets victories have come as the home team.
