Becky Lynch knows how to get the people talking.
On Monday’s night’s edition of WWE’s “Raw,” Lynch sported a wardrobe that bore strong resemblance to Jerry Seinfeld’s classic “puffy shirt” in a backstage promo.
In the segment where she was wearing the shirt, Lynch lobbied WWE on-screen authority figure Adam Pierce, who ultimately put her in a match against Asuka later in the show.
In winning the match, Lynch gained entrance to a triple-threat match for the WWE Raw women’s championship with Asuka and champion Bianca Belair at “Hell in a Cell” outside Chicago on June 5.
The puffy shirt was nearly a dead ringer for the one Seinfeld wore nearly 20 years ago, when the comic mistakenly agreed with Kramer’s girlfriend, a “low-talker” named Leslie, to wear the shirt on the “Today” show.

“I can’t wear this puffy shirt on TV. It looks ridiculous!” Seinfeld complained. “I don’t wanna be a pirate!”
The ability of “Seinfeld” to maintain its relevance to present day never ceases to be a marvel.
