Sasha Banks partied with Steve Aoki after WWE suspension

WWE star Sasha Banks showed off her moves on another stage this past weekend after being suspended indefinitely by WWE, along with tag team partner Naomi, for walking out of the building during “Monday Night Raw” last week.

Banks partied with DJ Steve Aoki on Friday at his show in Minneapolis, Minn., according to a fan-captured video on Twitter.

Banks supported her signature long, blue hair on stage and danced along to Lil Nas X’s and Jack Harlow’s “INDUSTRY BABY” with Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus. Banks is a cousin of Snoop Dogg’s.

The pair partied behind Aoki’s DJ setup in front of a packed crowd. Banks, who was dressed in a bright green crop top and dark pants, was all smiles while singing in front of a cameraman on stage.

It marked perhaps the first public appearance by Banks since being publicly rebuked by WWE for her walk-out with Naomi.

Banks and Naomi, according to a statement released by the WWE, exited Scope Arena in Norfolk, Va. and refused to take part in a match with Becky Lynch, Asuka, Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. to determine the No. 1 contender for Raw women’s champion Bianca Belair at the “Hell in a Cell” pay-per-view on June 5. Asuka defeated Lynch in a singles match to earn the spot.

Banks and Naomi have yet to address the situation publicly.

According to WWE’s statement, the pros didn’t feel respected as tag team champions and “were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents.” Fightful Select reported that Banks and Naomi’s issues centered around the direction of the women’s tag team division and was not about the women in the match.

WWE — which stripped Banks and Naomi of their women’s tag team titles — said it will have a new tournament to crown the next women’s tag team champions.
