The Giants are hoping not to be this year’s turkeys for the Dallas Cowboys.
Giants-Cowboys will be slotted into the traditional late-afternoon Thanksgiving window hosted by the Cowboys when the NFL schedule officially is released Thursday night, sources told The Post.
The Giants have played 15 all-time games on Thanksgiving, including the most recent (a loss to Washington) in 2017 and the most recent trip to Dallas (a loss) in 1992.

The Cowboys’ trip to East Rutherford is scheduled for primetime, sources said. WPIX reported Cowboys at Giants is set for Sept. 26 on “Monday Night Football,” after a Week 1 visit to the Titans and the home opener against the Panthers.
The Cowboys have lost their last three Thanksgiving games.
