Kenny Pickett’s fiancée Amy Paternoster celebrates chaotic NFL Draft night

Kenny Pickett’s fiancée, Amy Paternoster, is on cloud nine after the Pittsburgh quarterback was selected by the Steelers with the No. 20 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Paternoster, a senior at Princeton University, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a heartfelt tribute to Pickett, and celebrated that the quarterback will remain in Pittsburgh.

“Words cannot describe how proud I am of you, nor how happy I am to see all of your dreams come true,” Paternoster wrote in her post, which included photos of the couple during the moment Pickett took a call from the Steelers during the 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas last weekend.

“There is nobody more deserving of this! I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things you have yet to accomplish. Let’s go home!!! 💛🖤 #steelernation #herewego.”

Pickett commented, “Me and you ❤️♾.”

After Pickett’s emotional night at the draft — he was captured by cameras looking somber when it appeared as though he slid down the board — the couple celebrated at a party with friends.

Paternoster shared a bunch of tagged photos to her Instagram Story that showed the future Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Pickett all smiles with their loved ones.

Pickett announced his engagement to Paternoster in January 2022, just a few weeks after he declared for the draft.

Both Pickett and Paternoster are New Jersey natives, and she remained in the Garden State for college while the quarterback attended Pittsburgh. She is set to graduate sometime this year, and will likely join Pickett full-time in Pennsylvania.
