A 93-year-old Florida woman was found stuffed in her freezer last week and cops are questioning her 64-year-old daughter in the case, officials said.
Sebastian police said that neighbors grew concerned about Marie Hoskins after not seeing her for several days.
Officers went to her address for a welfare check but no one answered the door despite several attempts.
A relative then provided cops with a key to the home and they were able to gain access, cops said.
Inside, they found the woman’s 64-year-old daughter, who said she had not seen her mother for an extended period.
Unsatisfied with her answer, police searched the home and found Hoskins in a garage freezer.
The daughter voluntarily went into a local police station for questioning but has not been charged, according to local officials.
Hoskins’ body was removed from the freezer and relatives made an official identification.
