Mike Tyson spotted laughing on the phone in new video shortly after plane fight

Mike Tyson seemed to have a good chuckle during a phone conversation Wednesday night, moments after the boxing legend deboarded a plane following a wild scuffle with a fellow passenger.

Tyson — who was filmed last week repeatedly punching a passenger who allegedly instigated the altercation — was spotted laughing while on the phone at San Francisco International Airport, where he was set to depart for Florida, according to footage obtained by TMZ Sports.

In the video published Tuesday, Tyson is seen laughing in the terminal and sitting down while on a call. A witness told the outlet that the 55-year-old “was surrounded by cops … and was speaking with one of the officers following the incident.”

Tyson made headlines last week after a video emerged of him appearing to pummel Melvin Townsend III on an aircraft. Reps for the former heavyweight champ called the passenger “aggressive” and stated how he threw a water bottle at Tyson.

“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” the statement read.

Townsend has since lawyered up following the incident, with his counsel telling TMZ, “Our client denies throwing a water bottle prior to being struck by Mr. Tyson.”

At the time of the melee, Iron Mike — whose Tyson 2.0 marijuana line has become a success since its launch last year — was headed to Miami, where he was scheduled to serve as the main speaker at the Benzinga Cannabis Conference.

Tyson did make it to South Florida on Thursday and took photos with fans upon his arrival at his hotel.
