Camille Kostek reflects on Bucs’ Super Bowl win in Rob Gronkowski tribute

Camille Kostek has celebrated countless career triumphs with boyfriend Rob Gronkowski, but she can still remember his first Super Bowl win as a Buccaneer as if it was yesterday.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, exactly one year after the Buccaneers topped the Chiefs in Super Bowl 2021, the “Wipeout” co-host, 29, reflected on Gronkowski’s fourth championship title.

“Heading into Super Bowl week reminiscing on this day last year, February 7 2021 when the @buccaneers made history being the first NFL team to ever play and win a Super Bowl on their home turf,” Kostek began.

“These moments will last us our lifetime ❤️ proud to be by your side and witness these unforgettable times @gronk ❤️ we’re just big kids doing what we love, chasing dreams every day and we’re not stopping.”

In the post, Kostek shared a collection of moments throughout the night, including the couple’s on-field embrace after the Buccaneers won the game. Kostek also posted a clip of herself and Gisele Bündchen mimicking Gronkowski, 32, and Tom Brady’s post-victory videos.

Much has changed in the last 12 months, however. Brady, 44, announced last week that he was stepping away from the game after 22 seasons. Gronkowski, who had played with Brady for nine seasons in New England, later paid tribute to the only quarterback he’s ever known.

“Tommy Boy!!! This football journey with you has been nothing short of special,” Gronkowski posted alongside an Instagram video Wednesday. “Thank you for your dedication to the game, putting the team in the best possible position to win every year, all the records that were broken, the Super Bowls, the memories, and your friendship through the last 12 years.”

The Buccaneers said they would give Gronkowski, who came out of retirement in April 2020 to join Brady in Tampa Bay, time to figure out what may be next for him.

“I don’t think it was going to be (dependent) on whether Tom came back or not…. we would welcome Rob back with open arms but we’re giving him the space to determine what he wants to do,” Buccaneers GM Jason Licht recently said, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
