Creative prop bet angles for Super Bowl 2022

Although most bettors will flock to the side and total for Super Bowl betting purposes, there are numerous prop bets ripe for the taking.

According to Action Network analyst Raheem Palmer, the first opportunity arises before play begins with the singing of the national anthem.

“You just know how long the national anthem is going to go,” Palmer says. “The auditions leak to the general public…and that means you have an edge.”

Another good prop for Super Bowl bettors to target is the length of the longest field goal in the game.

“Historically, there are field goals that are pretty short,” says Action Network chief content officer Chad Millman. “The odds are in your favor to bet on that side of the field goal ledger.”

The final prop worth investigating, Palmer says, is the color of the Gatorade used for a celebratory bath when one team has clinched victory.

“That also leaks as well,” explains Palmer. “[So] a lot of times you know what color Gatorade is in there.”
