Brooks Koepka is feeling the love from his favorite fan.
Shortly after Koepka topped rival Bryson DeChambeau on Friday in “The Match,” the golfer’s model fiancée, Jena Sims, posted a congratulatory message to her future husband on Instagram.
“Wynner,” she gushed, with a nod to the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, where the highly hyped event took place.
Koepka, 31, and DeChambeau, 28, faced off the day after Thanksgiving in a 12-hole event. Koepka wound up being four holes up after nine, succeeding in his quest to “spank” the frenemy.
“It’s kind of like my major right now,” Koepka said Friday. “I’m not going to lie. I just wanted to spank him.”
Sims, who was first linked to Koepka in 2017, was present for Friday’s showdown and sported a personalized top to support the golfer. Ahead of “The Match,” the couple also enjoyed some downtime together in Sin City.
“Gobbling you up,” Sims wrote Thursday on Instagram, where she shared a collection of cozy photos with Koepka.
It’s been a whirlwind year for Koepka and Sims, who announced their engagement ahead of the 2021 Masters.
“Forever is no joke,” Sims posted on Instagram in March.
Although Sims and Koepka’s romance began four years ago, the pair actually met at the 2015 Masters.
“We were on Hole 7, which I don’t even remember, but he’s like, ‘Oh, I remember what you were wearing, where we were standing, everything,’” Sims previously told Golf Digest. “It was cool. We hadn’t dated since then. We were just friends at that point.”
Today, Sims and Koepka are officially in wedding-planning mode and, after Friday’s win, have lots more to celebrate.
